Discover Meze Greek Fusion

Meze Greek Fusion offers a delicious blend of traditional Greek flavors with a modern twist, creating a unique dining experience in the heart of San Diego. Located at 345 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101, this restaurant is quickly becoming a local favorite, drawing food lovers from all walks of life. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or someone looking to explore new tastes, Meze Greek Fusion has something to offer that will excite your taste buds.

The first thing you’ll notice when you walk into Meze Greek Fusion is the vibrant, yet cozy atmosphere. The restaurant’s modern decor, with its sleek lines and soft lighting, creates the perfect backdrop for a relaxed dining experience. The open kitchen adds a personal touch, allowing you to watch the chefs work their magic with fresh ingredients. There’s a welcoming vibe here that makes you feel like part of the family.

When it comes to the menu, Meze Greek Fusion truly shines. The chefs take classic Greek recipes and elevate them with contemporary flavors and techniques, offering a refreshing take on Mediterranean food. The Meze platter, which offers a variety of appetizers like tzatziki, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves, is a great way to start your meal. Each dish is packed with flavor and made from high-quality, fresh ingredients.

A standout dish at Meze Greek Fusion is the lamb gyro, which combines tender, marinated lamb with a blend of herbs and spices. It’s served on a warm pita and topped with fresh vegetables and a creamy yogurt-based sauce. The balance of flavors is perfect, with the richness of the lamb complemented by the tanginess of the sauce and the crunch of the vegetables.

Another must-try is the Moussaka, a traditional Greek casserole made with layers of eggplant, minced beef, and béchamel sauce. The layers are perfectly cooked, and the dish has just the right amount of seasoning to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients. It's comfort food at its finest, and definitely a crowd-pleaser.

For those who are looking for lighter options, Meze Greek Fusion offers a variety of fresh salads and seafood dishes. The Greek Salad, made with crisp cucumbers, ripe tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese, is a refreshing choice, especially when paired with a glass of crisp white wine. The grilled octopus, tender and smoky, is another favorite, offering a great balance of flavors that’ll leave you craving more.

The drinks menu also doesn’t disappoint. They offer an extensive list of wines from Greece, which pair wonderfully with the Mediterranean dishes. If you prefer something stronger, you can try their signature cocktails, which are as creative as they are delicious. The Greek Mule, for instance, adds a Greek twist to the classic Moscow Mule by using ouzo instead of vodka. It’s refreshing and packs just the right amount of punch.

Meze Greek Fusion stands out not just because of its mouthwatering food, but also due to its exceptional service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to offer suggestions or answer any questions about the menu. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular, you’ll always feel welcomed and well taken care of.

Customer reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the quality of the food and the ambiance. The consistency in delivering great meals and friendly service has helped Meze Greek Fusion build a loyal following. One customer raved about how the restaurant managed to capture the authentic flavors of Greece while making everything feel modern and fresh. Another mentioned that they loved how the staff takes the time to explain the ingredients in each dish, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Located in the heart of San Diego, Meze Greek Fusion is the perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. The combination of great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or just a light bite, Meze Greek Fusion promises a memorable dining experience that you’ll want to repeat time and time again.

  • Been here multiple times, great food, great service, nice atmosphere. 4 stars for food only because my recent last visit i did not care for what I ordered all that much ( fries were absolutely on point, and great pickle... but the salmon burger was not great for me), have really enjoyed all other dishes I have had in the past.

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment we walked into Meze Greek Fusion, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely excellent—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite reminded us of the best of Mediterranean cuisine. The customer service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring we had a great experience. We never had to wait or ask twice for anything, and our server was both knowledgeable and warm. The ambience was perfect—chic yet cozy, vibrant and filled with energy, with just the right lighting and music to make for an unforgettable evening. And one more huge plus: everything was fast! From seating to food delivery, the whole experience was smooth and efficient without feeling rushed. Highly recommend for anyone visiting San Diego or looking for a standout dining experience!

  • We visited Meze for a team dinner for our business. Our server Julia was truly excellent - friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable of the menu items. My team loved the food and the whole experience. My grandmother was from Greece, so I am a bit of a purist in my tastes for Greek food - but it is clearly labeled as Fusion food and is good quality. Portions are significant. My team was already talking about visiting again in the future as we walked away. We have two people who were gluten-free and they had no trouble finding something to eat. The salad meals are impressive and very good.

  • Went here on a Monday night. It was a pretty quiet evening. The waiter got us seated and we were severed pretty quick. Our appetizers came out perfect and the Lamb was great.

  • Lunch was good. The Pendry Hotel recommended Meze. It's close by. There was a "hot sauce" at the table that was good. It added a bit more flavor to the food. Greek white wines were a good choice with the salad and chicken.

  • We had an absolutely fantastic experience at MEZE and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try it. Our reservation was a group dinner with a show to catch #SHRM25. We had the option to sit indoors or out but we opted for outdoors to “people watch” and enjoy the vibe on the sidewalk. Our waitress “B” (Blairta) was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! “B” explained the menu in detail, offered suggestions and was extremely attentive to our table and others around. The food was crazy delicious, drinks (get an Old Fashioned!) were delicious and portions were awesome. Don’t leave without trying the Greek Coffee and Baklava Cheesecake!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

  • Always a great experience. The food is awesome. I’ve had a variety of menu items and love them all. Tonight I had the Meze burger. Oh my. Such a great combination of flavors. And do not miss the Baklava Cheesecake. It is out of this world. The staff are amazing too. So enthusiastic and genuinely welcoming. Finally, the prices are shockingly reasonable considering the quality (and quantity) of the food. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.
